Great Crusades, Batman! It's the Brick Wall himself!

This amazingly detailed model was designed by 3DArtGuy and takes inspiration from the grimdark universe's Rogal Dorn, Primarch of the VIIth Legion Astartes, the Imperial Fists.

Rogal Dorn, the Primarch of the Imperial Fists Space Marine Legion in Warhammer 40K, is renowned for his unbreakable loyalty, unyielding discipline, and unmatched mastery of fortifications and siegecraft. Known as the Praetorian of Terra, Rogal Dorn embodies the Imperium’s defensive might and absolute dedication to the Emperor of Mankind.

During the Great Crusade, Rogal Dorn led the Imperial Fists in campaigns of conquest and compliance, renowned for their brutal precision and engineering prowess. His fortress-building genius was legendary, creating unassailable bastions and indomitable defensive lines wherever the Imperium needed them most.

His defining moment came during the Horus Heresy, when Rogal Dorn was tasked with the defense of Holy Terra itself. As the Siege of Terra began, Dorn commanded the loyalist forces atop the walls of the Imperial Palace, repelling wave after wave of traitor assaults with ruthless efficiency and sacrifice. His strategy and sacrifice bought precious time for the Emperor’s final confrontation with Horus.

Warhammer 40K lore describes Rogal Dorn as the epitome of duty and honor, often depicted in ornate, imposing Terminator armor, wielding his massive Chainsword Storm’s Teeth and the Voice of Terra bolter. His unwavering hatred for betrayal and corruption made him one of the Emperor’s most trusted sons—but also a grim, uncompromising leader who could demand the ultimate sacrifice from his warriors without hesitation.

Though presumed dead after the Iron Cage campaign against the Iron Warriors, legends persist of Rogal Dorn’s last stand and the recovered bones used as sacred relics by the Imperial Fists Chapter. His legacy lives on in the Crimson Fists, Black Templars, and other successor Chapters who carry on his teachings of stoic endurance, martial pride, and unwavering loyalty to the Imperium.

Warhammer 40K collectors and painters prize Imperial Fists miniatures for their striking yellow armor, detailed siege-themed iconography, and the thematic purity of Dorn’s legacy. For fans of the Horus Heresy, Rogal Dorn represents the immovable bulwark against Chaos—a grim, determined figure standing resolute in humanity’s darkest hour.
